    • Although there are two birth records for a William Carberry both are on the same day and have only 1 day difference in the baptism date. Going to the baptisms at St. Paul's Church in Trinity, I can find only one baptism which essentially matches the two entries perfectly and that is to parients Richard and Ann. I am therefore, wondering if the reference to father Robert was in error and should have been recorded as Richard. Mother being Ann HOGARTH would explain the Hogarth witnesses for him on each of his marriages.

      On baptism there is a curious entry viz:
      Oct'r 24th - A Son to RICH'D & ANN CARBERY of Turks Cove in this District, Pub’y named WILLIAM, born 12th Jany 1807.In England before January 1807.
